WHY LIFELONG LEARNING

I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for more than 20 years and I should say that this is a passion in my life. I love my profession and enjoy teaching learners of all ages and levels of English. Some time ago, I came across this cartoon that made me reflect about facts and myths about our profession and, now, I would like to share it with all of you.

I feel quite identified with the poor teacher in the cartoon.

I´m very enthusiastic about my professional development because I think it is a way of getting over most of the difficulties we face day after day.

During the last few years, I have introduced some 2.0 Web tools in my teaching with very good results. Learners´ motivation is enhanced and learning a foreign language becomes meaningful by means of real communication. This is the reason why I am here, on board on this incredible journey called Digital Tools with Purpose in the Classroom.
